that is true and its why they did it last year and in 10, but this game needs no hype its the season opener.

no doubt we will get some flat home opener the next week like cleveland which no one will be excited about.

You needn't be a homer to predict a win. They aren't the '85 Bears, and they needed a minor miracle to beat us in Dallas last year. But WK1 means playing them when they're at their healthiest and most stoked.

the 91 monday night game, the return to monday night football after like 6 years against the skins and the season opener against the skins on monday night in 92 are two of the most incredible cowboys redskins games ever.

yep, still an awesome game though. The energy for the 92 opener was crazy. I could just feel it on my couch, I wish i could have been there that night.

Far be it for me to credit that dickbag Goodell for anything, but after initially thinking I'd hate it, I do like the 3 day format for the draft now.

Its only one night, but it adds a whole extra day of draft coverage. I like more draft coverage.
