Davis posted 11-25-0 rushing and 7-22-0 receiving lines in seven games with the Bears this season. He could find a way onto the Panthers' 52-man roster with some special teams contributions, but don't expect him to be any type of threat to Christian McCaffrey's workload.

49ers LT Joe Staley has been diagnosed with a fractured finger and could require surgery.

Staley is seeking a second opinion. Were Staley to go under the knife, he would miss a "couple of weeks." The blindside protector sounds very doubtful for Week 11, which is the last thing the 49ers needed after Jadeveon Clowney caved in their offensive line on Monday Night Football. Justin Skule has done a poor job as a fill-in this season.

NFL clubs have been informed that Colin Kaepernick will hold a workout on Saturday, although the QB's reps had requested that it take place on a Tuesday, when more team personnel could attend.

2. Do you or any of your players really want the distractio of 100 media members at practice everyday to talk to the backup quarterback?

If you don't answer no to both, your team likely sucks as a result of piss poor management.
