He's a good player, but he is also 32 yrs old (will be 33 this season) and has had double digit sacks just once in his career.
They got him for essentially nothing, which tells me nobody really wanted the guy.

he just had signed a large contract ext, but a 4th and 6th would have been worth it with our need at MLB.

I don't think anyone in the league thinks he isn't talented, otherwise he wouldn't keep getting chances. Hell Belichick gave him two separate chances.

It’s sad as a Cowboy fan to watch as Mcvay turned around the Rams in a single season and is continuing to make the team better, as well as watching the Eagles turn their dumpster fire around in two years, win the Super Bowl, and continue to get better
