Curved 65 Inch 4K TV

We got one of these this past week, just in time for football. The resolution is crazy. My eyes kind of freak out a little. Wish there were more movies made for that type of resolution. I also have a 4K imac. Seems like that’s where everything is headed.

4k is amazing. Unfortunately I don't watch anything but sports...nobody is broadcasting in 4k...not that I know of...wonder how long it will be until everything is broadcasted in 4k....might be a long while

Japan is officially committed to broadcast the 2020 Olympics in 8k. Given that there's scarcely time to do two generations of popular tv equipment upgrades, every tv manufacturer in the world except Samsung and LG are Japanese, and that you can already buy 8k broadcast cameras and editing gear - not yet, alas, at home enthusiast price levels or even within shouting distance of them - you might see 8k on 8k screens for sports before you ever see a 4k broadcast.
