Watching all the pro-Palestine rallies which seem to be getting more and more aggressive, I wonder if it is already too late to secure the border. I believe in the right to protest no matter how abhorrent the message, but the number of people showing complete ignorance, and a willingness to open call for the annihilation of a people, is just scary. People better wake up to what is happening because the hatred is growing more intense.
Not only must we close the border, and I mean all the borders, to people from countries that know nothing but hatred, we need to mass deport those who bring those feelings to this country then foment trouble.

Lie-den is freaking senile. Trump would never allow this. Millions of illegal immigrants entering our country bringing diseases & murderers. Who pays for it? We do. Keep blocking that boarder Texas National Guard!20240119_112340.jpg

My heart bleeds for this mother. Latest victim. I personally loathe Biden for continuing on letting this happen. He's pure evil! 20240119_114253.jpg

Frustrations explode at Senate GOP lunch over border deal

Mike Lee, the chairman of the Senate Steering Committee, said frustration boiled over because some GOP senators feel they are being “set up” by Senate leaders who plan to rush a deal on Ukraine funding and border security to the floor before the Presidents’ Day recess.

Lee argued at Tuesday’s lunch that senators need to have at least three weeks to review the complicated legislation, and a chance to amend it before a final vote — and that Republicans should block it unless leaders agree.

“We’ve been through these things so many times where we’re told, ‘Oh, there’s not a deal yet, not a deal, not a deal.’ All of a sudden: ‘Oh, there’s [a] deal.’ And then we are given the equivalent of a snap election, like a snap vote, without really any opportunity to read it and no opportunity to amend it,” Lee said.

They've been doing that on both sides (house and senate) for a long time.

They always cram 1000's pages of a bill through without giving anyone time to read any of it. I don't know how anyone can legitimately vote one way or another on most of this shit.

Remember Pelosi's infamous crap when someone complained about having no time to review it thoroughly -"we need to pass this bill so we can see what is in it" (Obamacare bill)

Trusted Pastor Warns Biden’s Border Battle With Texas Could Be Deliberately Provoking Civil War

Jack Hibbs, Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in California and Founder of the Real Life Network on Wednesday informed his congregation about the situation developing, which he warned could result in civil war.

Many, especially young people, are not aware of the “incredible power” held by governors, Hibbs explained.

“The governor is like the president of a country,” he described. “The United States Air Force is made up of Air Forces from 50 different states. The United States Army is made up of soldiers or army personnel from each of the 50 states. Every state has a National Guard. So, for example, Gavin Newsom, as Governor of California, is the Commander in Chief of the California National Guard.”

“Our states are sovereign. The states agree to have the federal government rule over them. A governor can tell the federal government that they’re not going to do this or they’re not going to do that,” he explained. “A governor has incredible power.”

“We’re in a situation because Texas, the people of Texas, decided to shut the border down. Joe Biden deployed federal forces to literally cut the brand new fencing and barbed wire so that the invasion could continue,” Hibbs stressed. “You don’t want to pick a fight with Texas—and I’m not saying that as a joke. Their patriotism for their ‘country of Texas’ is not to be played with.”

“Texas’ constitutional authority, by the way, trump’s the federal constitution,” the pastor noted, highlighting that Texas has already left the United States twice, and the events unfolding could lead to a third departure.

Abbott waited WAY too long to do this. And now reportedly he is in India instead of in his home state to deal with Biden basically threatening armed military intervention to stop Texas.

MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of illegal aliens have come across since the day Biden was installed as the President. Former FBI people sounding the alarm over something we've been told abou for well over a year now as well, that there are massive amounts of military aged, single men coming across the border. Wonder why'd that be?

This 100 times. Abbott is an idiot and waited 3 years for his tough guy routine while millions of illegals crossed the border. These are not serious people. It's all for show and politics.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) denounced President Biden’s support of the Senate-backed U.S.-Mexico border deal, arguing he can use executive action to curtail the number of encounters the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) deals with daily.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Johnson said that Biden does not need to pass new legislation to address the situation at the southern border.

“President Biden falsely claimed yesterday he needs Congress to pass a new law to allow him to close the southern border, but he knows that is untrue,” Johnson said. “As I explained to him in a letter late last year, and have specifically reiterated to him on multiple occasions since, he can and must take executive action immediately to reverse the catastrophe he has created.”

Johnson went on to list several actions Biden can take.

“As my letter stated, President Biden can begin to secure the border by ending catch-and-release, ceasing exploitation of parole authority, reinstating the Remain in Mexico program, expanding the use of expedited removal authority, and renewing construction of the border wall,” Johnson continued. “The President must start by using the broad legal authority he already possesses to reclaim our nation’s sovereignty and end the mass release of illegal aliens into our country.”

Johnson’s response comes after Biden’s statement on Friday when he vowed to shut down the U.S. Mexico border “when it becomes overwhelmed” if bipartisan border security legislation passes Congress.
