I love how they list him lacking the physical skills for the next level as a positive. lol

That is what makes Tech WRs so great! They are physically inferior but make up for it by being from Tech!

Zack Eskridge
6'3"
215lbs

04/09/2011 - Zack Eskridge didn't feel out of place standing beside Andy Dalton and Greg McElroy at Cowboys Stadium on Friday. The Midwestern State quarterback is the grandson of Jack Eskridge, the Cowboys' original equipment manager, and Eskridge started his career at TCU. So throwing to TCU receivers Jimmy Young and Jeremy Kerley at Dallas Day was like old times for Eskridge, who redshirted at TCU in 2006 and was on the team in 2007 before transferring. Eskridge also caught up with former Horned Frogs teammates Marcus Cannon, Evan Frosch and Jake Kirkpatrick on Friday. "I hadn't seen them in about three or four years," Eskridge said. "It was great to be back with all those guys. It was an awesome experience." The Cowboys played host to area prospects at the stadium, with Baylor cornerback Antareis Bryan (Dallas Carter), Oklahoma safety Jonathan Nelson (Mansfield Summit), Eastern New Mexico receiver Jessie Poku (Richardson) and Harvard defensive back Collin Zych (Plano East) among others who took part. "When you're one of only about 30 or 40 guys they invite, you feel pretty special," Eskridge said. Jack Eskridge, the Cowboys' equipment manager and purchasing agent from 1960-72, helped with the design of the Cowboys' famous star logo. He also had three uniform innovations, including hand warmers sewn into the front of the jersey. - Charean Williams, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Just to toss out a few names that have not received much attention but the Cowboys really like are:

RB Stevan Ridley (would not surprise me if Dallas took him in the 4th or 5th round)

FB | Dial Preston | Alabama

WR | Ricardo Lockett | Fort Valley St

TE | Lee Smith | Marshall
TE | Stephen Skelton | Fordham

OT | Byron Stingley | Louisville

OG | Clint Boiling | Georgia
OG | Keith Williams | Nebraska

OC | Rodney Hudson | Florida St
OC | Jake Kirkpatrick | TCU

DE | Zane Parr | Virginia

OLB | Jonas Mouton | Michigan
OLB | Ross Homas | Ohio St

ILB | Alex Wujciak | Maryland

CB | DeMarcus Van Dyke | Miami(FL) (They LOVE this kid but he is going to go much higher then he should)

CB | Johnny Patrick | Louisville (Dallas loves his potential as a safety)

CB | Korey Lindsey | Souther Illinois

Those are just some names to ponder in addition to the released names we all seem to be talking about. If I had to bet I would say we are more likely to see these guys taken then the one's Dallas has put in the spot lite.

Not only did we not draft any of these guys.... but we haven't signed any as UDFA.

Good sources though. Seriously.

My boss, also a Cowboy fan, just came in excited about the signing of Justin Taplin-Ross. His daughter was a gymnast and then a trainer for the Utah program, her boyfriend played O Line, and he (my boss) has been around the program a lot the last 5 years.

As much as I pay attention to all things Safety, I wasn't too familiar with him. Seems athletic for someone his size (6'3", 214 lbs). He had 62 tackles last year and 2 picks.

Mark Herzlich, Jake Kirkpatrick, Kris O'Dowd.."name" udfa's

All undrafted though, they all have some holes in their game...undrafted guys are like really late round picks from the old days...these are guys you want to take chances on so you can take lesser known, maybe more athletically gifted guys in lieu of some bigger name guys from more known schools or programs

This was a weak draft in general, the talent crop wasnt all that great to begin with...couple that with the lack of OTA's and mini camps, and it was going to be tough for any late rd picks and especially UDFA's to come in and make enough of an impression to make the 53

Kinda slacked off there...had to do your job for you

Had to whip some ass on the golf course.

It's a bad day when you can par 7 holes and still shoot a 93. I hate golf more and more every round I play.

I feel your pain bro...but did you lose any money? Thats all that matters.

I shot a 94 the other day...played awful on probably 13 or 14 holes...but won the two biggest holes of the day and managed to take 50 bucks or so with me.
