So RKG just means, "Good football player".

No, that's incorrect.

An RKG “... is someone who loves to play football, who is very passionate about it, willing to work hard at it, willing to be part of a team, willing to be part of something that is maybe greater than himself."

It refers to the player's attitude toward the game.

There are some good football players who aren't RKGs. A guy like Flozell Adams comes to mind. He was a five time pro bowler, but he was never said to be particularly passionate about it.

Marc Columbo, on the other hand, had a lesser career, but was said to have the RKG attitude. MBIII was an RKG, but wasn't a good running back during the final part of his career.

It doesn't mean anything about the type of person you are.

Yes, that part is correct.

Hardy.

Offense is championship caliber as is, IMO.

Hardy instantly makes every other defensive player a little bit better. Not close. Although, both would be insane.

AP probably makes us a better team.. But he's not getting cut so it will take high compensation. No likey.

My answer is Hardy.

This is where the Vikings are stupid. The money they would have saved by cutting Peterson would have been significant, and they could have applied that to going after Murray. Instead they may end up paying a guy that doesn't want to be there, and that they will undoubtedly cut next year, because then his salary would accelerate upwards to $24 million.

Dude on ESPN Radio keeps repeating that the Carolina source he talked to says Hardy "misses meetings, parties too much, isn't a good pro."

At this point is it more than just the legal problems/PR hit?

He will be signed very soon. Expect the announcement before long. I am curious about the contract and cap hit.

jnday knows a guy who works for the team, and that guy has direct contact to Stephen and or Jerry. IIRC.

For now, forget about Seattle and Tampa being involved. Dallas is undisputed favorite to land free-agent DE Greg Hardy.

Iam beat me to it, saw those notes on ESPN as well. Definitely good news.

Was kinda bummed when I read earlier he left and no deal was getting done or even close.

According to Breer, the Cowboys plan for today was to get to know him and that actual contract talks will happen tomorrow and possibly later tonight.
