4 years, 32 million.

Thoughts?

my thoughts are this is fantastic.

We drafted the guy, developed him, played him at two positions and now resigned him.

That is right out of the how to run a sports organization properlyl.

Glad he resigned. I keep hearing it's a great deal. I'd have to look at what the average contract is for a nice, not dominant starting LT.

Is it still a good deal if he's playing RT in 2012 or 2013? Serious question. What did Coulmbo get a few years back?

Tampa was going to pay him that to be their RT from day one...numerous other teams wanted him too

Its time some of you give the guy credit, he's a really good young player who still has upside

From Wikipedia:

On March 9, 2007, Colombo was re-signed by the Cowboys to a two year contract worth $7 million with a $4 million dollar signing bonus.[1]

On December 25, 2008, Columbo finalized a contract extension worth $22 million, with $11.5 million guaranteed, through the 2012 season.
