Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bradie James spoke with reporters on Monday. Some highlights:

On the possibility of an 18-game season? "I can't even fathom it right now, to be honest with you. And I know fans want that. But as our bodies get toward the end of the year, with potential playoff games, that's a lot. But, potentially, that's all we talking about is a potential 18-game season. When that time comes, I'll have a very loud opinion about it.

The owners want it. Is that a potential stumbling block? "We're still talking about potential. Like I said, if that happens, when it happens, I'm sure a lot of us will be talking about how we feel about it."

Do you expect a lockout? "Yeah. It's imminent, so it will happen. It will be here before we know it."

How do the players approach that? "We've just got to approach it like we're playing. You've got to continue to work out. I have no idea how long, but in my true heart of hearts I feel like something will get done this summer. Cooler heads will prevail. Everybody loves this game. Owners, players. It's all about what we do as far as what we love and giving some entertainment to the fans, too. So we'll be playing."

How unified are the players? We're unified. The owners are unified, too. That's the issue.

I think we should all line up to the entrance to Valley Ranch wearing Ray Ban sunglasses and scream at Bradie as he drives in until he rips them off.

So lockout is imminent yet cooler heads will prevail and we'll be playing? Do you ever stop and listen to yourself speak Mr. James?

He says the lockout in March will happen but he thinks they'll end it in the summer.

Read slower.

I thought the same thing, james you are a dumbass...

lol

Actually you two would be the dumbasses. He did not contradict himself at all. The lockout's in March. He says he expects it to end in the summer.

March comes before the summer, Einsteins.

These players will be begging for whatever the owners want soon....Wait til they start missing some child support, home and car payments....

The majority of these blockheads aren't cashing in like the NBA and MLBer's but they try to live the same lifestyle.

Nice work on the semantics. March means absolutely nothing as OTAs don't begin until the summer.

Yeah, so....he said they will be locked out in March. Meaning no training at Valley Ranch, no mini camps. But he's hopeful they'll end the lockout at some point in the summer.

Bradie is hoping to be locked out until March. He "needs" his rest. After all, he played (if you can call it that) in a whopping 16 games this season. He is tired.

He never quantified when it would start or end, just that they will be playingthis summer

He said the lockout would happen in March. But that he was hopeful it would end in the summer.

The problem here is your dumbass didn't know the lockout was happening in March. So now you're in full spin trying to hide that fact. Talking nonsense like there are no team activities until summer.

Bradie James laughs at you. And I join him.

Not that I give two shits what Bradie thinks. But, in that article, not once does it state when or if the lockout will happen. Was there an additional story that I am missing on? And, no, I don't know when the lockout would start, but, appearantly, Bradie does.

The lockout would begin at the start of the new league calendar year. That's in March. The current CBA will expire at that time and the lockout will occur unless there's an extension beforehand.

To my knowledge, at that point the only league activity that will occur without a new CBA agreement is the draft in April. No strength and conditioning program, no mini camps or OTAs.

Mini camps and OTAs don't start until the summer. James contradicted himself in spite of you attempt at clarifying the issue. You are making baseless assumptions that James knows what he is talking about.
