Apparently he’s muffed more than one punt
It’s safe to say that Turpin’s spot on the team and job as returner is safe for another season

The highlight I saw Vaughn got deleted like he didn’t even exist. He didn’t even slow down the blitzer. He just disappeared in the rubble as the blitzer bowled right through him.

Not a big fan of this based on what we've seen. Seems like a lot of money for a guy that plays FS and doesnt make many plays on the ball (total of 4 picks and a very paltry 5 passes defensed in two seasons here)

He's apparently had quite a few good blitz pickups though, which surprised coaches because they expected his size to be an issue.

I hope this kid works out
But blitz pick up is likely not going to be a strength of his seeing as how the average LB will outweigh him by 25-50lbs and the typical DE can outweigh him by up to 100lbs
I’m not keeping my fingers crossed.
However, I hope the kid makes the team and that they find the right role for him.
Apparently kick returns are not his forte either.

Sean Lee part two
He will be good when he’s on the field, but will be one of those players that are always injured and in 8 years from now we will be saying if only he wasn’t injured all the time, he coulda been great

The same could be said for his ability to pick up the blitz. It’s his biggest weakness on his scouting report

So he's quick and shifty but can't return punts. He can't pass block or play ST. But somehow he'll contribute as a rookie........
