Columnist blasts ex-Cowboys coach Sean Payton for moving family to Dallas: 'It's a soulless concrete jungle of strip malls'

New Orleans Saints fans aren't taking too kindly to head coach Sean Payton's decision to uproot his family, mid-contract, from the suburbs outside the city and move them back to Westlake, Texas.
While fans may have complained about Payton's move regardless of where he ended up, the fact that he's moving to a suburb of the Dallas-Fort Worth area has enraged them even more. The issue hit a boiling point on Sunday, when Times-Picayune sports writer Jeff Duncan tried his best to pick apart Payton's decision.
After taking the former Cowboys assistant coach to task, he then decided to go after the Dallas area, calling the city the 'anti-New Orleans.'
"Dallas is the anti-New Orleans. It's everything New Orleans is not," Duncan said in his article. "It's the pretty honor-roll sister who was voted most likely to succeed, and did. But it's also a soulless concrete jungle of strip malls, chain restaurants and cookie-cutter subdivisions."
Duncan then went on to add that it's also difficult to see Payton move back for another reason. His relationship with Jerry Jones has Saints fans feeling a little uneasy.
"And then there's the little matter of Payton's cozy relationship with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. These guys are not just colleagues, they're drinking buddies.
"Texas has stolen so much business and talent from New Orleans over the years, the thought of losing their Super Bowl-winning coach there rightfully knots the gut of every warm-blooded Who Dat."
What do you make of his comments? Is Sean Payton's decision to move his family back to Texas that big of a deal? Is Duncan blowing things out of proportion? Or are his feelings justified?
