The networks have done a horrible job almost every week with the broadcast schedule.
Just another step in the wrong direction for college football. The product on the field is turning into complete shit just like the NFL.

On another note, I watched a little of Allar the other day and there's definitely some stuff to like with him. I need to watch some more but my earlier assessment that he was similar to a couple other bust Penn State QB's may have been to harsh.

Boise St is going to be a super tough out for anyone in the CFP.
I don't think there's any really super dominant team this year. They already played #1 Oregon at Oregon and had a lead in the 4th quarter there (Oregon won on a FG as time expired)

Jeanty update for the 1st half. 21 carries, 106 yds and a TD.
He did lose a fumble inside the 10, his 2nd lost fumble on 300+ touches this year. Announcers noted both fumbles were when he was carrying the ball in the left arm, which he had some sort of cast/injury with.

Might be the end of the Mike Gundy era for them. They started 3-0 and then completely collapsed.

Ended up with 226 on 37 carries. Could have been 250+ without the two holding calls.
He's a real workhorse. Gonna be a gem for somebody once he gets into the NFL.

Insane football game in Athens last night. My Dawgs had no business winning but they hung around and found a way in the end.
College football in general is such a shitty product now. The OT rules they use are beyond stupid. The transfer portal is a joke. Mega conferences. NIL. Something like 70 teams make bowl games now.
They have ruined a product that most would have said was completely immune from ruining.

Transfer Portal and NIL. The Capitalist in me says about time universities pay the kids who bring them in millions of revenue. The Capitalist in me says hell yeah let them transfer for better deals or better situations.
Too many bowl games? Nobody's forcing anyone to watch more football.

Ratings for college football are exploding. TV deals are ballooning. We have annual doormats like Colorado kicking ass now. I'm loving every minute of CF.

Literally there's no way to complain about this. Every team has parents of players, spouses and families of coaches, trainers, water boys etc - who get that one extra special game. Dunno about you, but I'd give my eye teeth to time travel back and get to suit up with my comrades in arms one last time and go into battle with them. Too many bowl games? Whatever the market supports is what we should have. It's capitalism.

Nobody supports it. Turn on any of those 20+ excessive bowl games and look at the (non) crowds. Look at the miniscule TV ratings.

Commendable, but you actually raise another point about how shitty the college game is.
You might want to "suit up with my comrades" one last time but many of those same comrades will say fuck you and the team and sit out the game if they think they are a draftable prospect.
