It's gotten to the point where I don't care what players we've missed out on over the years... if we had drafted Ed Reed, he would have been misused and wouldn't have been near as effective. OK, maybe not Reed, because Parcells... But Tom Brady? If we had drafted him before Aikman's last season, Campo and crew would have fucked that up.

Yeah, I used to say that about Troy Polamalu.

No way had we taken him that he would've been the freelancing crazy guy that he became in Pittsburgh.

See... its hard to say whether or not our scouting staff really sucks because our coachig is, and has been, so sub par for so long that players really improve once they get there. Sure, a few guys do - Romo, Austin, etc. But most don't.

That, and the culture here isn't winning football games. It's all a circus.

Just a bad combination.

Winning this coin flip is just a sign of things to come.

The force will be with us in 2014. I am starting to feel it.

It doesn't matter who we draft here. We're the black hole of NFL talent. Everyone might as well just play golf during training camp. It's not like they're learning anything from this perpetual clusterfuck of a coaching staff.

And even if these coaches were any good other than Marinelli and couple more, all the players have to do is run to Jerry and he'll coddle them.

Good comparison. And he probably still can be, it's not like we don't have good players. But two years in and tons of injuries have hampered him. Dez showed flashes his first two years but was nothing real special. He couldn't get open consistently and was useless on the screens we constantly tried to run for him.

Claiborne would be Revis on another team.

No he wouldn't. He is not right mentally for the position. I just do not see the attitude.

Yeah, a 2 on the Wonderlic is mildly retarded if I'm not mistaken. He doesn't have the mental or physical abilities to play in the NFL. He's worse than Newman with injuries.

Disagree. Dez showed more than flashes his first two years. Hell... he was an electric playmaker even back then.

His first game sucked... but he was killing it on punt returns and raping corners with ridiculous catches from very early on.

Claiborn has shown nothing.

Not a fucking thing.

I don't disagree, but it's easier to show flashes as a wideout. Dez was a good return man who could make a nice jumping catch once in a while but really a terrible wide receiver. People were majorly disappointed in him after two years, and that extended into the third when Demaryius Thomas got off to a fast start and it really looked like Denver made the right choice. Then he caught fire and hasn't stopped since.

Yeah but Claiborn hasn't shown anything. In fact, he's looked average at best to bad most of the time.

He's kind of a feggit.
