We didn't carry 3 corners. We simply had 3 listed on the depth chart. Look at the DB total and use your brain. No team enters a season with only 3 players they feel can play cornerback.

Didn't even think of that way. When you consider guys like Ball, guys that are hybrids.

I wonder if it affected Ball's ability to learn the FS position, in that he had to be up on the CB position also, being that he was still the fourth corner.

He wasn't the 4th corner. Wade answered that in preseason that Ball would be practicing and playing strictly at free safety..

AOA too.

The thought that the Cowboys went into last season with no backup cornerback should there be an injury to the top 3 is laughable.

They obviously saw their backup in one of the safeties.

Why this is even being discussed is beyond me. It played no part whatsoever in the 6-10 season.

The only thing that is laughable is going into the season with only 3 viable cornerbacks, including an injury prone veteran, a 3rd year guy who thought he was all set and didn't need to improve his game, and the far-fetched, fan concocted idea of switching the starting FS back to corner. Which would leave the secondary even more short-handed because an even weaker player would be the starting FS in that event.

BTW there was no safety on the roster besides Sensy and Ball (and he wasn't even qualified himself) ready to see snaps in the defense.

Again, stupid, ****ing idea.

Telling us who should be banned is really acceptable...

It is completely acceptable, just like we tell the judicial system who should be placed in prison. If you want to turn this place into North Korea then go for it, but it won't last long if moderators continue to act like douche bags.

I knew it was only a matter of time before the protesting over in the middle east would spread to this message board...

Enforcing rules that do not exist, altering posts and constant threats to ban for no valid reason is the start of it. Mods are here to serve the community, not tell them how to post and what to say.
