Yep, I’m good.

The other fires still aren’t out yet and we just had 2 new fires kick up yesterday with these increased winds we are getting again.

The Hughes fire grew insanely fast. It started at 50 acres, within 30 minutes it was over 500, then it grew to 3200 in a couple hours. Last I heard it was well over 10k acres in less than 12 hours.

We also have the Sepulveda fire kick up last night as well. That one is actually relatively close to the office. But it shouldn’t threaten my location unless something goes drastically wrong.

Plus there is another one out in Riverside which is an hour east of me.

The news stated this morning that this is the worst natural disaster in our country’s history. And it’s nowhere near being contained yet.

It’s crazy to think that it’s still going on 2 weeks later and those same fires still aren’t out yet.

dont worry Gavin got this...look at all the good he is doing by pouring all that fresh water into the ocean instead of using it for stuff like putting out fires, farming, improving landscaping etc etc

I’m starting to see a huge upswell of anti Gavin/anti Dem sentiment!

There is even talk about the political climate starting to shift away from blue because of this.

geezuz, how bad does it have to get out there before its obvious as hell, the ideological capture within the DNP is astonishing

I heard a stat that the amount of money spent on homeless annually comes out to over $150K per person and I saw another one that said 42-47K PP

Either way, this should smack everyone in the face showing how futile the so called "solutions" are

This state would be best if it completely burnt to the ground and started over!

That may not even be enough to un-fuck this place.
I remember you've for years considered leaving lol. You better liquidate and get the hell outta there!

It doesn’t work that way. I can’t take my clients with me. And I can’t reliably service them from out of state. Plus the licensing requirements are completely different and CA doesn’t have reciprocity with TX.

So it’s not as simple just pick up and move.

Well now we have a storm front coming in tomorrow which is supposed to dump a fair amount of rain.

Get ready for the news reports to switch from the fire devastation to the mud slide devastation. It happens every time after a large fire. There is no more vegetation to hold back the hillsides anymore.
