A little more on the turnovers --
During Garrett's press conference yesterday he mentioned that during training camp, when the NFL officials dropped by to call a scrimmage or two, the officials were surprised / thought it peculiar that whenever a ball hit the ground (fumble or not), someone on the defense scooped it up and ran for the end zone. This strong emphasis on scooping up balls apparently was something new to the team this off season. Who knows, but maybe this has an impact.
Also heard a beat writer talk about the Ware interception. If I remember correctly, it was said that one of the LBs (Lee?) was closing very fast on Eli and that this rushed the poor throw that Ware managed to catch. I haven't seen the replay recently, so I can't verify. But if it is true, then this means that the Cowboys' pressure forced/set the stage for Eli's error .... and not that the Cowboys benefited from an inexplicable O'Donnell-like mental lapse.
