I like Bruce Carter. He's is a talented linebacker. But somewhere in the 3-4 you have to have ILB's who can take on guards and centers occasionally. In a 4-3 the linebackers usually have 2 big tackles and 4 total d linemen in front of them. In a 3-4, the ILB's are not covered. The interior offensive linemen have straight shots at them.

They're covered when you have the right personel on the field. Not a 300 lb NT..
