If Broaddus is predicting Hanna will be the 2nd guy, put all your money on Escobar

And missed out on some talented offensive/defensive lineman & safeties in the process.

No o line were taken in the 2nd after we picked. The only d line were Hankins who doesn't fit the system and Hunt who is a boom or bust pick. Swearinger is the only player maybe. I can't remember but didn't he have off field issues?

Not off-field issues. Some penalty issues though.

Hankins and Swearinger right off the top of my head.

Hankins has bust written all over him.

Liked Swearinger, but we ended up with Wilcox who has a chance to be pretty good himself.

Okay, I'll play that game.

Escobar has bust written all over him.

Now you go.

Find me some stuff that says Escobar doesn't work hard and takes plays off, like Hankins

WEAKNESSES Does not absorb or run through contact as well during routes as he does at the catch point. A straight-line mover after the catch, very little wiggle or straight-up tackle breaking. Not a blocker, either plays too close to his body or lunges from a distance. Soft and tentative on first contact. Was held out of the full-time starting role in 2011 because of it. Leads with elbows or shoulders when blocking.

Hoe doesn't give 100% when blocking and that has been documented on a ton of draft profiles for him.

Ha! You apparently haven't watched the last 6 years of Dallas running the 2TE sets.

The Patriots tried unsuccessfully to find the players to run the 2-TE set for awhile too. Since at least 2004 when they drafted Ben Watson in the 1st round to pair with Daniel Graham; who they also chose with a 1st round selection in 2002.

They struck out selecting 2 TEs in the 2006 draft: David Thomas and Garrett Mills; 3rd and 4th round respectively.

Finally they hit it rich in the 2010 draft with the selections of Gronkowski and Hernandez.

So as has been proven, it takes time.

That doesn't prove anything and all this is just bullshit.

Dallas runs the 2TE like a 6OL set so all the masturbating to the new version of the 2TE set is just wasted lube.

That's because their great hope as a 2nd receiving TE turned out to be a much better blocker than reliable receiving threat.

Using Escobar and Hanna as an extra blocker would be a waste of time.
