I wouldn't move Rat permanently to DE, but there's no reason why we can't switch it up so that Ratliff is moving around the line. It's what you do with a OLB in the 3-4, move him from the left-side to the right from time to time and viceversa.

If we pick at the top of the draft, the value looks to be QB and DL.

IMO, you don't turn down a franchise QB. You never know when you'll have that opportunity again. I don't care if you have Romo. Its the most important position on the field and for some reason it's the one spot where you're not supposed to have great depth. If we end up with that first pick I would definitely take the QB.

Short of that, there are a couple of real nice DL figuring to go in the top 5.

If we take a QB we have to pay him a lot of money. We don't want to do that. Besides, we have Kitna and he looks pretty damn good.

We need to get Brent as much playing time as possible to see if we can draft another position besides NT.
