Guess it's not health related.

Lacafora on twitter:
On the John Fox front, he's open to several options. Continue to hear the Bears likely to emerge as a top possibility for him

Was reading an article in the Denver paper that the Broncos brass were concerned that Fox didn't really want to be there late in the year, and that's one reason they both decided it was best to part ways.

Weird. Wonder what was going on there.

Maybe he questioned the ability of the sacred cow, and they didn't like it

That's what I was thinking, either he didn't like Manning basically running the entire offense or Elway got too pushy.

Denver's miseries make me happy. Watching them get dismantled yesterday was a nice consolation prize for me.

I respect the hell out of Payton Manning as a player, but I'm fucking SICK & TIRED of seeing his big, goofy forehead in every other fucking commercial.

I hate having to see him and that idiot Papa John every time I want to watch a game. Kind of glad we are out of the postseason so I don't have to subject myself to that anymore.

Don't forget, dbair, that Jerry just admitted that the expectations of the Cowboys was to win big up until this season.

Playoffs 4 years in a row. Super Bowl appearance last year. 12 wins this year.

Either Elway has some extremely unrealistic expectations or him and Fox just didn't get along.

Also, kind of crazy when you consider the rumors that Peyton was playing with a torn quad for the past month.

Yeah they're straight up reporting that now. Isn't it a rules violation to not report such injuries?

Well we have the less-likable ginger version ourselves now.

Maybe they could at least use the excuse that they're probably one of the least-profitable franchises out there and the Browns one of the least wealthy.

Just read that Elway said him and Fox disagreed on how to get to the next step.

It took us four years after losing to every team in the division for the division title, to finally win the division title.

It was 5-6 years ago when we were in the divisional playoff round and we lost to an NFC North team (Vikings). This time around it was the Packers --- another NFC North team. So at this rate, it'll be another five years till we advanced to the divisional round and lose to either the Lions or Bears, and so forth, until we have lost to all those NFC North teams. So basically 15 years from now, we'll finally advance to the NFC Championship.

So you don't see what we're building here...
