The military mission, known as "continuity of government" and "continuity of operations," is meant to preserve the ability of the U.S. government to operate.

That's actually quite disturbing. That our continuity of government partly relies on an idiotic flight path between the major airport runway and oncoming jet traffic.

The New York Times is reporting that the helicopter may have been flying outside of its approved flight path and higher than it should have been.



I guess the question is, how did the Blackhawk get too high and off course without air traffic control warning them to get back on course and at the right altitude? Why didn't ATC act with more urgency to get the helicopter out of the way of the jet? It seems to me asking "do you set the jet" is not exactly a bold course of action. Why not tell the copter to drop to the proper altitude?

I suppose we can question how the helicopter was so far above its approved altitude and so far off course without noticing too. This is just a horrible tragedy all around.

He's right. We supposedly had so many investigations after the 2020 election proving there was no fraud, but who did them? Where are they? Why were there no public releases of reports?

If you recall Trump's phone call with the Georgia Secretary of State, Trump listed a bunch of reports of alleged voter fraud in Georgia. The SoS kept saying, we looking into that and those reports were false, but he never explained who looked into it, how they looked into it, and what they found to refute the reports. For example, Trump noted there was a report that something like 62,000 underage voters voted in the 2020 election where 17 year olds were allowed to register to vote. Raffensperger claimed they looked into to and it was false. But there was no formal investigation, no audit of votes, etc. I suspect he made a phone call and someone told him it was false without every looking into it. Kind of like the CISA for the federal government claiming it was the most secure election in history. How could he know that? His statement was a BS opinion designed to give the left wing media something to latch onto. It was the equivalent of the letter signed by 51 intelligence officials claiming the Hunter laptop was Russian disinfo.

I doubt the controllers even know the altitude of the Blackhawk, as I'm pretty sure it either doesn't have a transponder or it's off for mission they were practicing.

By the way this same clown is another classic example of a DEI hire himself. He couldnt answer any aviation based questions when he was hired.
Have to correct myself a little, this was not the SAME guy that couldnt answer any aviation questions as potential head of FAA. That person was so awful they had to withdraw him.

But this guy is another classic DEI move himself as well.
