He played safety all 4 years of college, and if I recall correctly, he was drafted by the Raiders to play safety.

This. Living in Austin (as much as I hate them) I saw damn near every game Huff played at UT. He played both.

Majority of his starts were at Safety but even in his Senior year, Mack would move him to Cornerback for a game for specific match-up's.

You are right that he was drafted to play Safety though.
