So other than that, you have no legitimate reasons for your disdain for Kowalski. I mean what in his play has he demonstrated that he is undeserving of a shot? And if the Cowboys cannot develop Olinemen, then I guess Smith will be shit, right?

Well it's not a bet. I like what I've seen out of Kowalski. Will he continue? Well that remains to be seen. Fact is, you cannot build the entire Oline in one year. We need two new guards, preferably Nicks from FA and DeCastro or Glenn from the draft. With that, keep Kowalski at Center. If he doesn't work out... then next year you draft a Center. If he does.. then he's gold.

Its hitting on the mid to late rounders is what I'm talking about. Developing these guys into starters. We can't do it. Its hopeless.

I'd draft DeCastro, sign two vets as starters, and draft a couple later rounders to compete with those other bums. Next year I'd be looking at probably replacing Free.
