So you don't think he should play, even if he is physically able to?

I absolutely do.

But I don't think the owner/gm needs to be all but guaranteeing the guy will play

Just another instance of jerry needing to stfu.

Same with Jerry coming out and saying we needed to decrease Murray's workload. Please, just STFU.

Dooms, I don't think the way Tony had it done was the same as others (you?) had it done in the past... That discectomy is done by scope now, I'm pretty sure. I don't think he had all the major tissue damage you're thinking of.

And that former Chargers doc was adamant that this injury was entirely separate from his disc problem. The location was several inches apart.

The transverse process has nothing to do with the major invasive disk surgery he had though

Not picking on dbair - but what he posted reminds me that I've heard several people make the above observation in a way that suggests it is very positive that the first back injury has nothing to do with the second back injury.

While it is relatively good that the second back injury is not nearly as severe as the first, isn't it troubling that Romo now has an established history of multiple back injuries?

When you think about it, it really doesn't sound like good news. Bottom line - it is looking as if this guy is vulnerable to back injuries.

Jerry gave up his wife's 1st class seat for Romo. Why not give up his?
What better way to get the wife in another part of the plane so he can molest the young "assistants" he takes on the road with him every trip.
