Obviously exaggerating, but the point stands.

The team always plays down or up to their competition. I haven't seen any evidence of change under Garrett. Stupid mistakes at the worst possible time. That's what keeps other teams in ball games. Even bad teams.

If by stupid mistakes you mean penalties, I'm not sure we can do anything about it. We've been getting reemed by the officials for years. There's no question that alot of the calls against us are borderline at best, and there's also no questioning that alot of stuff the other teams we play gets "missed". The massive discrepency in holding calls is case in point numero uno.

If by stupid mistakes you mean Romo, then thats another I dont know will ever change regardless of who the coach is. He made dumb mistakes when Parcells was here. He made dumb mistakes when Wade was HC. He's continued to make dumb mistakes with Garrett as HC. Its just part of his game. He always comes back and says he knows he screwed up and will learn, but he never changes.

I think you're overstating the impact of Romo's stupid mistakes over his whole career. He's a gunslinger, and he makes the mistakes an aggressive QB makes overall, but he also makes a commensurate number of big plays. His TD/INT ratio historically, has been pretty good.

There are exceptions. The year he broke his hand and had all the fumbles (2008?), for example. And this year he's obviously had two games where he shit the bed on a couple of plays. I'm more than happy to live with the consequences of Romo's aggressiveness if he can cut down on the dangerous throws on first downs when the team doesn't really need points (ie, we're playing with a lead, or the defense is playing great). Those gaffes are the backbreakers.

Well we are known for making average QBs and understudies look great. So I don't know what's so silly about it.

Are we?

I can say with some confidence that I have zero concern about our defense playing against AJ Feeley this weekend. This is really something you worry about?

Not really worried about it, but I wouldn't put it past us with this team.

Spagnuolo/mcdaniels vs Garrett/Ryan.

We are going to see the hurry up again from the rams and spags already knows our offense inside out.

Trouble on the horizon. They will probably use Jackson a ton and wait for us to make mistakes late like we always do and try and beat us with fg late....

lol

Feels good to know they came out and put the same effort into the game that they did in the other games. That was where my concern was.

Mcdaniels tried running the hurry up early on and it worked for a big first down, then another big play but williams fumbled. After that it looked like mcdaniels was almost conceding plays to us. It was weird. They took one shot down the field and never tried again. It was a very odd approach from the rams.

Garrett is now 4-2-against spags defense. That rams defense has basically no talent. I am glad we buried them.

Again feels good to know they came out in a very flat environment and dictated a game to a team they should have. Just felt good to win a game. That is our first october win since we beat atlanta in 09.

Happy to be wrong today, feels good for a change to not have some agonizing play lingering over a whole game.
