Dumbass comment by David Moore, who I have generally liked in the past:

Do you believe that the Eagles' Week 8 dismantling of the Cowboys speaks to a general mismatch between the teams?

I believe the Eagles have superior talent across the board. I also believe Saturday's game will be a better competitive refleciton of how these two teams rank against each other _ if Philadelphia is still alive in the playoff race. If not, who knows how they respond?

There are areas where the Eagles are more talented. Overall at CB they are more talented. Their DL is more talented as a group than our group is. Jason Peters is having an exceptional year at LT, you'd take him. I think McCoy is a tremendous RB. But I would take our skill players as a GROUP over theirs. (Romo, Murray, Jones, Witten, Bryant and Austin over Vick, McCoy, Celek, Jackson and Maclin) I'd take our LB's over theirs easily. I'd take our OL as a GROUP over theirs. I'd take our kicker and punter over theirs (assuming McBriar is healthy)

So I'm not sure I agree that the Eagles have "superior talent across the board" like Moore states above.

CZ is loaded with dumbass talk about how if the Giants win vs the Jets, we should yank all the key people and treat this as a preseason game.

We are still alive for the wild card, it'd be stupid to "throw" this game because next weeks is for the division title. We need to win both games and get some momentum going. We also need to make amends for that awful showing vs Philly last time.

Amen. I want to win all the games left. We're not that good of a team to where we can turn it off and on at will.

Looks like Samuel will be out, that's really good news for us IMO.

Well Osi being out with the Giants was also supposed to be good news for us, but how did that turn out? Bottomline, I was never really all that concerend with their secondary. It's their Dline that will us issues. We pass protect, and limit turnovers, we'll be fine against the Eagles with or without Samuels.

I am always scared of Samuel against Romo, though. He just has a knack for tricking QBs (also has a knack for giving up huge plays) I can remember a few big ones he's nabbed off Romo.

I'll take any advantage we can get. I want to win the east on Saturday.
