It just seems strange to me. Sure he might have had some in college or high school

It's possible that their trying to hide and stash him away until next year.

Definitely think that's what it is. They know he's not ready to play in a real game but don't want to lose him or use a roster spot on him.

Sounds like he is done for the year, it also sounds like there's some serious concern over whether he might come back at all.

I hadn’t heard that. I heard that when they had to promote Jarwin off the practice squad they just don’t have room for Rico this year. He would give them 5 TE’s and it’s easier to keep him on IR instead of cutting him or having to cut someone else.

Romo was encouraging. Its nice to know big red has little to do with the X and O of coaching the team. Let him continue to motivate, whatever that means, and allow the real coaches to coach.
