Adrian Peterson needs to STFU.

I've never heard of a slave being paid millions. At most they banged the slave masters wife.

Lock Adrian Peterson in a room with the open books for a week and he wouldn't know a bit more than he knows now. What does some running back who had his tests and homework done for him by his Special Ed teachers all the way through school know about running a multiple million/billion dollar company?

Not all of them, but a large number of these athletes are ignorant. If they weren't athletic, they wouldn't have their GED's and would be working for minimum wage eating sawdust and shitting 2x4s.

They should stick to what they know, playing footbawls for the massa and collecting their already out of hand checks.

I love how Laz is the defender of the black man. He's like a superhero. Anytime anyone says anything even remotely negative about a black man, Laz comes in to save the day.

Well done, Laz.

He just feeds into that democrat mindset. Blacks are "victims".

To clarify, after reading my post, it sounds like I'm blasting just black players.

That wasn't my intent. I went to school with a lot of white and Mexican athletes and the rumors were that inside their special classes all the work was done for them so they could be eligible to play their sports.

Even The SAT was taken by other people so they could get into college and accept the scholarships.

Blacks, whites and Mexicans.

Completely moronic posts here. Every one of them.

I make money for my company. Now, that gives me the right to ask them to open the books up? What planet are you from? The players are EMPLOYED by the Owners, they get their checks from the EMPLOYER. That is where this whole "open the books up " starts and finishes. That's how it works in the real world.

I have never heard anyone compare Obama to Hitler. A horses's ass maybe.... Still, it is irrelevant

The player can only "score" that touchdown IF the OWNER has the stadium and he hires the player to score that TD in that stadium. Owners are greedy, no shit. it's THEIR money they are putting on the line. Like in any business. Millionaires playing a kids game and wanting as much as the owners take in are even more greedier.

And just where is the cryout when one of these players doesn't fulfill the contract he signed. Because he or someone "thinks" he deserves more. SO they sit, and sit, and sit. The owner eats that in revenue and wins and losses. I see people having no problems with that because "it's all the EVIL greedy owners fault"...

Well said.

That was almost believeable, David Duke.

If I play fantasy football, I'm going to give strong consideration to taking Adrian "Kunta Kinta" Peterson with my pick.

The players are the ones that people like YOU watxch, not the owners. When has an owner scored a TD?

I've watched the Cowboys long before Romo, Ware, Barber etc. donned the star, will continue to long after they hang 'em up like I witnessed Aikman, Emmitt and Michael do. I'm sure many other non-socialist fans of other teams will say the same thing about their players past, present and future.

The league isn't about the players, or the owners for that matter. It's about the fans, and I want to see one side or both put on a good showing to resolve this issue and get back to the business of getting ready for a new season and seasons to come. So far, the players have done nothing but glower, bitch and moan while the league has been pretty forthright throughout the whole process.

Now if the players were instead of the owners, then I would be on their side right now.
