I'm also a Bills fan. IDK if Dallas got the better of this trade. But he does have good size and speed. He was a first-round pick, so maybe with a different coaching staff and a different environment. Worth a shot.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Cowboys are finalizing a trade for Titans LB Kenneth Murray Jr. According to Rapoport, the teams are swapping late-round picks as part of the agreement for Murray.

Eagles signed A.J. Dillon. How is it that Dallas signs people I've never heard of and the Eagles keep signing people I have heard of?

Yes, Dillon was on IR, but Dillon and Barkley? Sounds pretty sweet to me. And yes, I realize Dillon rushed for only 3.4 yards in 2023, but I think he is a good short-yardage back who can get some quality snaps in a very long season.

Murray, like Elam, is another former 1st rounder who didn't live up to expectations.

Murray has been a better player than Elam, he's actually been a starter for pretty much his entire career except for one season partially interrupted by injury. He's still only 26.

Don't go saying that I think he is a great player or anything, but his situation and career so far have been completely different than Elam's.

Whirlwind day:

Traded for Bills CB Kaiir Elam
Traded for Titans LB Kenneth Murray
Signed Bears LB Jack Sanborn (I do like this move)
Signed former Saints 1st rd pick DE Payton Turner

Had already signed Dolphins starting G Rob Jones and Broncos RB Jevonte Williams.

Definitely no earth shattering moves so far, its also likely not all these guys even make the team.

They definitely need to do more and would be nice to see them get at least a couple of proven NFL starters to add to this.

We actually didn't "lose" any picks (other than next years 7th)

We just moved down with a couple times. I think we had four 5ths, two 6ths and a 7th prior to today. Now we have three 5ths, two 6ths and two 7ths.

Hate to see him go, just not sure how healthy he'll be at his age and considering the type of injury he had.

Was a really solid and underrated player here for long time. Gave 110% every play and you definitely havent been able to say that about a lot of our guys over the past 10+ years.

Maybe you dont watch enough football?

Williams numbers for his 4 seasons are almost identical to Dillon's, and Williams missed almost all of his 2nd season with an injury. He's also 2 yrs younger than Dillon. Was originally a 2nd rd pick.

Williams is considered a strong short yardage back and is also a really good receiver.

In all seriousness, you probably havent heard much about Williams because the Broncos have been pretty lousy for several yrs (up until last season. Whereas Dillon's Packers have been fixtures on TV and in the playoffs.
