If not for Graham, the Egals still wouldn't own a SB title. Graham made one of the biggest plays in team history when he got the strip sack on Brady late in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LII, sealing the Egals first SB championship.usa_today_10588583.0.jpg

Well, Brady would have 1 less ring if not for a miraculous catch by Edelman. And one less than that if not for Vinatieri. And one less than that if not for Vinatieri again.

It takes a team and Tom Brady always knew that. Much respect to him for never insisting that he be the highest paid player or even the second highest.

And to boot, he still managed to do quite well for himself financially without being a pain in the ass about his contract.

All it took was one win against an overrated team to start talking extension
Like I said in the other thread, it's not happening.

He's already listed his house, he knows he is gone. Jones said what he did to keep players (and fans) believing that they are still focused on winning. With the remaining schedule we have, there's realistically only two winnable games left, and both of those are far from gimmees for this shit team.

Cowboys-Redskins have always had years when a lesser team has beaten the other. Remember 1987 during the strike? 1989 we won one game, guess where? 1990 we beat a heavily favored Washington team on Thanksgiving Day (still to this day one of my alltime favorite Cowboy games, because it was a real signal that we were starting to turn it around). 1993 what ended up being a terrible Washington team drubbed us on opening night. 1995 The Foreskins won 6 games for the season but beat us both times.

Do agree with you that Washington was overrated this year though, but they have still been better than us.

"He's already listed his house"... that's good info, but people do sell their houses to buy another one.

Yet, given the nature of having an expiring contract, it does seem odd that he would simply be buying another home. So I agree that it is likely a strong indicator that he is gone as HC, if not the Dallas area. People like to keep a residence in the Dallas area for tax reasons and the central airport.

The good news with the "Commanders" is I think I heard on the Tim Pool Podcast, of all places, that they are bringing their logo back. It's actually the native American tribes, specifically I think the Blackfoot Tribe that want it back. They don't like being removed from NFL history. They never thought Redskins was racist.

If true, then maybe we can also get them to change the idiotic Commanders name. I even like "football team" better.

The more important question is will WokeZone now unban "Redskins" on their dipshit forum.

I think the reason I hate the name Commanders is that the color scheme and the logo does not match the name.

If they changed the color scheme to something that connotes command, like an admiral's uniform (I thought they would go with the name admirals). Maybe a Navy Blue (Commander of a ship) and gold, with maybe a logo similar to what the Patriots used to have with a Patriot snapping the ball. Something along those lines.

Something along these lines. It also ties into the Revolution, etc
