That wasn't on the coach. They needed that time out to set up for the FG. Williams had plenty of time to run a play and use the whole field and I have no idea what the fuck he was doing. Low football IQ quarterbacking.

Zeke showed absolutely NOTHING after week one. he was lousy on the field and was missign meetings/late repeatedly according to reports. Instead of releasing him, Jones insisted they keep using him and he had a crushing redzone fumble vs Philly afterward.

Coach didn't have a contingency for if a sack happens in that sequence. And then if you watch you'll see at least eight seconds go by where the QB is tapping his hat and yelling at the sideline for a play. You get caught with your pants down you burn that last timeout and probably just try the FG you're not too far out of range.

Negative buddy. He's not tapping his helmet looking for a play. He's calling the play and then lines up and takes his sweet time, even fixing his arm band, before he snaps the ball and then makes a low percentage throw. It's QB play for retards.

The play didn't come in because now due to the sack they are off script. Eberflus is scanning his playlist. And there's NOBODY in the league expects a ROOKIE QB to manage this sequence. It's on the HC.
There were other reasons to can him, this wasn't the only reason it was the last straw. He froze. Deer in the headlights. Watch his presser. Even there he still doesn't get it. Still thinks it woulda been 3rd down.
