Bob Sturm is saying it wasnt 15+ pressures (which would be unheard of) but instead was 8 today and another 8 vs San Fran, both of which are horrible games.

Disagree with Sturm on the "good player" thing though. He WAS a good player prior to the injury. This year he is one of the worst players in the league.

That delay of game, like a lot of other things, was unforgivable. They had more then enough time to get that play off. The Eagles were begging us to steal this game but we refused. Steele should be forced to wear a "Fuck Philly" sandwich-board in one of Philly's toughest neighborhoods.

I count Dak, Gallup, Steele, the dbs, the refs, McCarthy, Jerry....damn, that's a lot of idiots that cost us this game. Considering if they'd won I'd have awarded game balls to Lamb, Ferguson and the Eagles D for their screwups without which we probably wouldn't have even been in a position to win at the end I think we can say the majority collectively shit the bed on this one...

Doesn't Philly play a "bend don't break" style? Usually, a team that plays that way will give up yards, but not TDs.

They seemed to get pressure on Dak when it mattered.

I repeat, changing the offensive system in a year where you are hoping to be a SB contender is not an optimal move. You do that when you know you're going to suck.

Besides the ref calls & dropped passes, Dallas ended in misery. They had 1st & goal from the 6-yard line w/27 seconds left.

Completion short of goal line

Let's not forget Dallas had over 4 minutes on a drive late in the 4th without clock management & a hurry-up offense. WHY?!

Why would they? They needed a TD to win the game and at that point and you don't give the ball back to Philly. You play that possession as the final drive of the game.

I actually disagreed with the announcers who were whining about that. They handled it exactly as they should have because we had all three timeouts remaining.

The defense was very bad in the 3rd quarter. The best situation for Dallas would have been to score a TD as late as possible and allow Philly as little time left to do anything as possible.

If we didnt have all three timeouts left they had a point, but that wasnt the case.

It definitely had ZERO impact on the game as we did get a 3 and out and got the ball back, and still moved the ball the length of the field for a legit chance to win.

I think if we fail to at least make the conference championship (which seems like a sure bet) then McCarthy is going to get whacked. He wouldn't be the only one deserving of it, but I do think he will get fired if we flop again in the playoffs (or fail to make the playoffs altogether, which is possible)
