Dak is not a bad QB. We can win with Dak. We can win a SB with Dak. I've seen worse QBs than Dak win SBs. My problem is with his contract and the fact he will likely want even more.
That's why if I were GM I'd be planning to dump him and move on if he doesn't get a ring. If I were GM only a ring would keep Dak in Dallas.
IMHO, commentators who say the contract shouldn't matter in evaluations are full of it.

Defense giving this team absolutely no chance to win tonight.
They were horrible against the lowly Cardinals and they are beyond awful tonight. Its not only suckass play, but stupid fucking play too.

Niners have had some decent field positions. The best way to help a defense is to have an offense that can move the football.
I still remember when Romo took over for Bledsoe. Suddenly the defense looked a lot better.

Horrendous 30 minutes of football on both sides of the ball. Defense getting completely embarrassed and offense, other than one drive has done absolutely nothing.
We arnt even remotely close to a contender. This team genuinely thought they had closed the gap on the best teams in the league and after having two competitive losses to the Niners the last two yrs, we dont even belong on the field with these guys now.
Our OL has been a joke, especially Terrence Steele who has been a complete turnstile the entire first half. Jayron Kearse has been the worst player on the defense (again). Prescott drops back and most plays seems to have no idea what he is looking at. No run game to speak of.
Other side of the ball is an even bigger joke, This defense was supposed to be GOOD, and for the 2nd time in three weeks they've given this team no chance whatsoever to win. Only two or three guys on defense has done anything good. Micah Parsons has been almost completely MIA.
They look faster than us and eons more physical than us on both sides of the ball. Team will be lucky if this doesnt end up 40-something to 10.

4 three and outs, one one play and Pollard fumble drive and one good drive.

Painfully slow to move now. Looks like he is running with lead in his shoes.
Prescott is never gonna win this team anything. He isnt the sole reason we are losing tonight but he has not been good again.
They absolutely cannot sign this guy to another contract.

SF is a good team. You're not going to contain them. Hell, you may not even beat them. But the O needs to give you a shot. A good team puts points on the board to end the half and then tries to get back in the game with their first possession after the half. But Dak chokes.
The announcers said it before the game and SF didn't hide it. Their game plan was to make Dak beat them.
