I don't want Dak for free if he can't take us to the SB. Same fucking story year after year after year after year. He'll own all the franchise stats before he's done except the one that should matter the most.

IMO, Dak can't take us to the SB because of his contract. He has as much or more talent than many QBs who have won SBs, but they either did it by taking less money (as Tom Brady did) or they did it the pre-cap/free agency era so a coach could build depth.

Mark Rypien, Jeff Hostetler, Jim Plunkett, Jay Schroeder, Doug Williams, and many more were no better than Dak. But coaches could put together teams instead of always having to fix a leaking pipe that keeps leaking someplace else.

It's no coincidence that the Chiefs seem to have a chink in their armour now.

There should be no free agency and no salary cap. Just pay all the players more money, but keep them on the team that drafted them.

Every game we have lost this season we have had a personal foul (sometimes more than one) at the worst time of the game that absolutely kills us

We keep shooting ourselves in the foot.

I'm referring to the OL here. Part of it might be the scheme. Part of it might be play calling. I think it's harder to get a holding call during run plays. I wish we ran a gap style blocking scheme (I want 350 pound, fat and sloppy, OL like Dewan Jones) and we called more run plays.

Just from a common sense perspective, if the OL is moving forward then he is on the offensive. He is taking it to the defender. If the OL is moving backwards then he is the defensive. He's taking shots and reacting, not dishing it.

Jerry Jones fucked up by not trading for Derrick Henry. I heard Henry was in fact available. When LVE went down Jerry should have gotten on the phone. Was Leonard available for a trade?

Whether it's Will Mclay really in charge or Stephen Jones, somebody is far too worried about the cap and staying competitive, rather than going all out to win a SB.

The Rams are not horrible. They had to blow up their team because of the cap. But they won a SB! I think the Rams are the sixth seed. Maybe with one decent draft, boom, they are back on top. And they are in a tough division.

I'm referring to things like Tyler Smith holding. Terrance Steele, etc. Steel, for example, is a good run blocker. He struggles in pass blocking,. So why are we always passing?

You're my boy Aggie but please stop. Just stop. NE was not known to be a good drafting team. For the most part, Brady was throwing to no names and midgets except for the year they had Moss. Brady carried that franchise, just like he carried TB. Now I get it....Brady is a generational talent. But Dak will never be that. He can't carry the team consistently. We see it year after year after year after year and we keep pretending he can be an outlier like Hos or Rypien, etc. He can't because he doesn't have the mental makeup. He goes in a shell and can't look off his first read or his safety valve. Not consistently anyway........

We've seen this very same season before and I know how this will end. Is it possible we can make a run in the playoffs? Sure.....if we're carried by the D and they play lights out and we're not asking Dak to carry us and lead this team through the playoffs.

And we've spent some serious resources on the O side of the ball. And we blame guys like Cooper and Dez before him for Dak's shortcomings. It gets old after a while.

It's no coincidence that the Chiefs seem to have a chink in their armour now.

And I still believe that Mahomes can carry them through the playoffs even with those chinks. You keep waiting for Dak to become Rypien and I'll keep waiting for us to draft a true franchise QB.

The object is to score points you know.

Tyler Smith's holding call was pretty damn bogus yesterday. The defender had two hands full of his jersey.

Ultimately I have no problem with the dumb fuck refs throwing ticky tack penalties against us, even for holding. My problem is they NEVER see all the obvious shit the other OL gets away with. They call it one way and one way only.
