Well Philly lost to the Zack Wilson Jets.

It's an AFC game but it's still a loss, if Philly ends up losing the division by a game I guess everybody should be doing the same for them in regards to that game. "Well if we hadnt lost to the damn jets"

The Jets are AFC and don’t count for the tie breaker.

Our tie breaker likely will come down to conference wins. Their loss to the AFC Jets don’t hurt them.

Our loss to the NFC Cards does hurt us.

If they beat the NYG both of their remaking games (which is likely) we will have no way to catch them.

That’s why our loss to the Cards will cost us the tie breaker.

It's still a loss dude.

If they didn't have that loss, they might not even get a tie breaker situation. What if the end up tied with the Niners for home field adv? That Jets loss matters doesnt it.

Like I said, I don't think it's going to matter in the end. There's still 4 games left and we have a brutal schedule anyway.

Makes sense NFL. Ferguson gets hit high in the head, Seahags guy taunts him for it, he signals 1st down and then gets slapped by Adams.

Ferguson gets fined.

No they are not, when are they going to quit with this fucking charade? This crew is rightfully getting hammered over the BS from the other night, but this shit goes on in almost every game and we NEVER see any improvement, EVER.

I don't disagree that some calls are honestly just "missed", but the vast majority of these things happen and even live someone even as stupid as Joe Biden can probably see what call obviously needed to be made.

Gambling is a MASSIVE problem in the NFL and I have haze zero doubt whatsoever that the majority of bad calls and noncalls are because the ref crew is making decisions based on how they bet the game. The league just refuses to properly investigate it, acknowledge it and act on it because they know it would crush their multi billion dollar business and also have a massive impact on gambling profits for sports books (which the NFL embraces and actually advertises themselves during games)

"Officials are evaluated on every play of every game. League officiating staff analyze the performance of every official, both for the calls that are made and those that are not. That review results in a grade which plays a major role in determining how to help the officials improve their performance as well as decide which officials will officiate in the playoffs. There are also year-end evaluations of every official."

I'm betting they are, it's the frequency that I question. Officials performance generally isn't a money factor, and almost any company in the world pushes non money issues to the backburner. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say they actually sit down and put any effort into evaluations twice a year, before the playoffs and in the offseason; and even the efffort's probably iffy.

Great

Just what we need

Our toughest and most important game of the entire season and our best player on the team isn’t 100%.
