I checked just because I was curious, but even if the line moved another 3 pts during the week (unlikely) to get us to -20, it would be nowhere near the largest point spreads in regular season history. It'd make the list, but barely.HoustonWeWill Have A Problem!
28 is the most ever. Also an interesting note, according to this report only one team that was a 20pt+ favorite has ever covered the spread.
For the Cowboys, the largest favorite we have ever been was 1977 vs Tampa Bay. We were 23 pt favorites and did not cover (23-7, Tampa had a defensive TD)
