He left off we lost the starting C and another starting LB.

We had 7 starters on IR before we kicked off today, number will probably be 9 this week when Prescott and Hill are officially IR'd. Havent seen official word on Hill but his knee injury looked bad.

They all run this same injury risk every time they take a snap. It's a freak injury not at all made more likely by it being a running play. Offensive linemen get this same injury all the time. The dude rolled his ankle. Not from collision but from a situation that can happen any time.

Let qbs run if they can run.

Running QB's run a greater risk. I mean, he injured it on a designed running play.

In any event, Dak not signing the contract is going to loom large. I'd bet he's beating himself up over it while lying in his hospital bed. No fucking good......

We officially have one of the worst defenses in the history of the league.

And somehow they eek out a win without their starting QB and losing another starting DT.

Never seen a year like this with injuries. We have lost 3 starting OL, the starting QB, starting TE, two DT's, two LB's and a starting CB.

Yep. Gonna be surgery and a long rehab. Could be career ending.

Well at least he signed this years tag and pocketed $31M

if it is career ending he’s still set for life financially

I saw the clip of the play and at the end you can see his toe is stuck in the turf and his foot is turned 90 degrees to his leg. No way in hell it didn’t snap like a toothpick.

This is not going to be an easy recovery, especially with it being a compound fracture

The qbs who run today are bigger stronger guys. The rules prohibit banging them like in the past. It's just not a thing anymore to sweat running a qb who can run.

Same fucking injury Alex Smith suffered in the pocket. Joe Thiesmann, not the ankle but yeah, same basic injury. They run this risk every time they take a snap.

Being stupid and running them all the time yeah, that's less than responsible. It's why you see Mahomes running less and less. You pick your shots. It's a more than acceptable risk. Same damn injury happens to rbs.

It’s a bad pic, but you get the idea. It shows what I was taking about
