Because they're using the tv measurement for greatness, ratings, which high scoring affairs will usually get you. Just like they sang similar praises for that Rams/Chiefs game in Mexico City a couple of years back. Doesn't mean they're right in the standard football speaking world, but they are if you take it in tv language.

Football or entertainment. For me it's far more entertaining when the score is low. These dumbfuck commentators wouldn't know the difference between football and WWE. It's a Madden videogame world out there.
