I know his confidence was shaken and he’s struggled. But damn....

We coulda at least tried to trade him. We coulda got something for him at least

Maybe he re-aggravated his leg/groin injury from last yr.

I thought it was odd that last week Garrett had Maher try that FG at the end of blowout loss (instead of Bailey)

They cut the best kicker in the league over the last few years but they keep Rico who doesn’t know the playbook, or his assignments, who can’t block, and just got arrested for pot hours before final roster cut downs

Yeah I don't understand the Rico thing, hopefully he wont be here come Monday.

The Bailey thing strikes me as odd too, but they do save a lot of cap space and Maher was impressive during camp and preseason on FG's and kickoffs.

Apparently Geoff Swaim just got a contract extension.

Unless the story is a joke, it says he signed an extension for exactly the amount we saved from cutting Bailey

You are as good as your last kick. End of year last year this guy was shakier than a 75 Pinto. Even the FO figured the FG will figure prominently in the 2018 offense.
