Hard to ever know that, when we "take what they give us" and just not even try to challenge doubles. I had this exact gripe when it was happening over and over to Dez. We just don't adjust and don't try, we just let them take a guy out of the game.

Contrast that to when teams tried this same shit repeatedly with Irvin. We wouldn't let them. We would move him around, use pre-snap motion, and even line him up in the slot. It's the philosophy, not the players.
