Wondering if former Cowboy TE/current Saints Assistant head Coach/TE Coach Dan Campbell might be Garrett's replacement.

Got a brief stint as interim HC of Dolphins in 2015 and has been with Sean Payton since then.

Supposedly Parcells and Sean Payton both like Campbell as a potential HC in the league.

Of the 12 teams currently projected in the playoffs, the Cowboys have the lowest points differential of any of them (+7)

The Cowboys are currently 26th in the league in scoring at 19.7pts per game. They'd need to score 44pts in their last two games just to get to an average of 20.0 for the season.

Dallas is 1 of just 9 teams that don't have double digit interceptions for the season. They have 8 total, there are two individual players that have 7 by themselves. (Kyle Fuller, Chicago and Xavien Howard, Miami). As I noted in another post, neither one of our starting CB's has an int this year despite playing almost every snap in all 13 games.

The Cowboys defense also ranks a very mediocre 22nd in opposing QB rating allowed (96.3) and a really poor 28th in completion % allowed (68.2%). The pass rush also rates pretty mediocre, tied for 17th in sacks.

3rd and 1: Zeke's on the sideline getting water and catching his breath. His conditioning continues to be suspect.

Just been perusing the stats from the year so far. Noticed the Cowboys have just 299 yards combined on kick and punt returns. Our opponents have 689 yards. These hidden yards can make a big difference in the outcome of a game. If I never again see Cole Beasley on punt return duty it won't be a day too soon. We need to find a spark here. Hopefully Tavon Austin is back soon and can provide it.

First, he's carried the ball on 73% of the teams rush plays. If you take away Prescott's 67 carries (many of which are scrambles, sneaks or kneel downs) Zeke's carried the ball on 88% of our rushing plays. He also has 72 receptions, which means for the year so far he has 358 touches in 14 games, an average of 26 per game. In Emmitt's most used year, he averaged 27 touches per game (carries and receptions)

Just saw Seinfeld do standup Saturday night and he was damn good, went on for over an hour which is amazing and we would have loved to hear him go for another hour. He's worth almost 1 billion and he's still doing stand up for shits and grins

But this was a Cowboys team that came to Indianapolis acting like it was going to coronation rather than one playing with a sense of urgency, one win away clinching a division title.

Rookie linebacker Leighton Vander Esch debuted his clothing line on Friday. Linebacker Jaylon Smith had a pop shot for his eyewear. Defensive tackle Antwaun Woods had his t-shirts made.

And members of the defensive line got off the plane in Indy with suits and HotBoyz hard hats.

Yeah. Fresh legs after the halftime break, and hadn't done much at all to that point. It was part of the PLAN for that game.

Zeke, gasping for air, would have begged out of the game after the third run.

Such bullshit, really. Zeke doesn't leave the game on his own request, they intentionally SPELL him because they are stupid, don't want to "wear him out." They've done this same thing with ALL of our top RBs since Ginger's been the HC. Also you're pretending Emmitt played every snap? They "rested" him often, during games.

They still got the same overall workload.

And one thing Emmitt just had a knack for was never getting hit hard, or at least minimizing the times that would happen. Didn't seem like you saw a ton of blow-up hits on him.

Zeke on the other hand takes a tremendous amount of punishment. He seeks out some of it but he does not shy away from contact at all. The beatings his body are taking are far worse than what Emmitt saw.
