But seriously, they think 12-4 and 13-3 were real results and they were only a play or two away from winning it all. They haven't any suspicion they have a mediocre team with horrid coaching and terrible chemistry. Therefore they're going to just try to keep the roster static and double down yet again. Because Ginger is such a genius! Coach of the fucking YEAR!
Bingo. They're blaming it all on the Zeke suspension and a couple of injuries. Of course they never consider that it's football, and people will get hurt again this year -- quite possibly worse than this year. When's the last time we lost a truly key player to a season-ending injury? Sean Lee four years ago? Romo? We really haven't had multiple good players out the whole year like some teams.

Again, that's why their rationalization for 2015 pissed me off so much. Steve just comes out and says oh, Romo was hurt, nothing could be done, 1-11 without him was okay, we'll get 'em next year. Meanwhile the Eagles lose key players including their MVP QB, excellent LT, and MLB, and win the Superbowl.

Fun fact: Green Bay, 49ers, Carolina, Vikings, Philly, Seattle, Chicago, GMen, NO, Cards, Rams, and Atlanta all have multiple NFC championship game appearances since the Cowboys last did.
But hey, we have a shiny new stadium and practice facility and we're hosting the draft.
Everything's fine.

Not taking that bet.
We could be the 1st team anywhere to have the starting defense go on IR during the same play.

Our annual wildcatter pick

If Jerry's wildcatting ability equaled his GMing ability, he'd be sitting toothless somewhere in Arkansas on the front porch of his shack in the woods right now.

That coach of the year award really fucked up any chance we had of getting rid of Garrett for a number of years

Only our idiot owner would actually put any stock into "coach of the year" accomplishments and think that equates to "great coaching"

Sigh. The FO back to the one player away mentality.

I am not opposed to trading up for the right player. Probably wouldn't trade up with our 2nd but there are some players they could target early that would be difference makers.

One of them is Quenton Nelson. If somehow he falls to 8-12 range I think he's well worth going up for. He's a tremendous talent and he is a SAFE investment. With position taken out of the equation he is probably the best player in this draft and should be a perennial probowler/all pro.

This seems like a REALLY dumb trade to me at this point. Jets showing why they are a lousy franchise.

1st and TWO 2nds to move 3 spots.

three seconds, actually. they were obviously worried that rival Buffalo was gonna jump them. this also proves that they don't rate all the QBs equally. they must have someone particular in mind.

Then they are even dumber than I gave them credit for.

They have two teams ahead of them. If they want a SPECIFIC guy, then they did little to change the potential outcome.
