Broaddus mentioned the other day Moore is still practice squad eligible. I'd just cut him and sign him to that if they feel compelled to keep him. I cant imagine any team in the NFL actually bringing this guy to be a #2 or #3.

He isn't worth the #2 spot and IMO, definitely isn't worth wasting a 3rd spot on.

I heard the same regarding his practice squad eligibility. No one will pick up Moore. Stash him there and keep Rush as the #2.

They just need to make him an assistant coach and get it over with. I have nothing personal against Moore, and I don't hate him as a person. I just don't want him on this team, not even on the practice squad. The dude just doesn't belong in the NFL. It's not a crime, nor a tragedy as 99.999% of us will never make it even as far as Moore did. Hey, at least he got a shot at it. Keeping him is just wasting a spot for a guy who does belong, and further makes this franchise look like amateur hour.

Why? He doesn't bring anything to that table. Particularly not credibility.

To satisfy their need to hang on to him. I couldn't care less if he's sent packing, and never heard from again. I just figured stashing him on the coaching staff because they have a hard-on for the guy was the lesser of evils.

He is the OC and our play calling sucks. Unless Garrett calls plays that is Linehan's fault.

Just curious, what OC that is leaps and bounds better than Linehan do you think would sidetrack their career to work for a couple buffoons like Red and Jerry?

Yeah ok. That offensive juggernaut we've fielded two of the last three years was just a figment of my imagination.

Exactly. The practice squad is for development. Moore has nothing to develop.

I agree for some guys like Tyron Smith. In his case all I care about is game day. Others need to prove they want to or should be here.

All those young DB's have missed way too much time. Switzer should be fine making an impact as a punt returner, but he's missed so much time in the offense that it's getting likely he will have very limited impact as a receiver.

The Cowboys are without more than 20 percent of their roster with 19 of their 90 players not taking part in practices. Some are veteran off days, like Jason Witten, Dez Bryant, Darren McFadden, Orlando Scandrick, Cole Beasley and Tyron Smith. Others are management, like Jaylon Smith. The rest are dealing with injuries. …
This folks, is how 8-8 teams are built.
