I'm VERY impressed with this years Cowboys draft... missed a couple of guys I wanted, but got a lot of db help
It was kind of refreshing to have the first draft in many years where making the team "more Romo friendly" wasn't a priority.

Guess you can only so long with a secondary made of Kleenex and a front four who rarely get close enough to breath on an opposing QB.

How or why did we end up with a second 6th round pick?

I knew we had two 7ths but where did the extra sixths come from?

Did we make a dumb trade? I haven't been watching

Patriots traded an extra 7th to move up 5 spots in the 6th to take an OL.

In each of your opinions do you feel we are a stronger/better team with who we have drafted this year vs the team we fielded last season with all the FA's that we lost?

Obviously there is no way to tell until this years draft is on the field.

But I feel like we will have a better team on the field this season than we did last season.

What are your thoughts?

Two most intriguing picks IMO are Xavier Woods and Noah Brown. Worst pick by far Joey Ivie. If the first three picks are starters three years from now they did good. Anything more is gravy.

I am looking for the details, but his proday got him drafted. Reports are he killed it and a bunch of teams were there to see it since there were so many other Gators everyone wanted to see.

No, made a good trade. Next years 5th for this years 6th, getting a player they coveted at a position they wanted help at.

We're getting 3, more likely 4 comp picks next year anyway.

I must have missed those drafts. Unless you're referring to O lineman.

Again. Just when the optimism and excitement about the draft increase, the teams head coach reminds us that as long as he is in charge, the team will be serving meatloaf on offense. It's not that Cooper Rush has no real chance to do anything on the team, it's the idiocy that he is even being considered. And why is he being considered? He's an intellectual with sub-average arm strength and is non-athletic but good football character.

Here. Look at his NFL comp:
