Either Romo doesn't care THAT much about winning, or he truly believes Garrett is a good enough coach. It's one or the other.
Those aren't the only options.

He could also think that he's good enough to overcome the deficiencies. Hell, he single-handedly got us to 12-4 in 2014 and should have gotten us to the NFC title game.

So that's what defense and a pass rush looks like

Denver already had 7 sacks in the 3rd quarter

And that's from 2nd and third stringers too

Jerry is comfortable with Garrett, that's why Garrett isn't going anywhere. It doesn't matter what Romo thinks or wants, and honestly it doesn't even matter what Stephen thinks. At the end of the day this is still Jerry's team as long as he is coherent and alive. He's going to do whatever the fuck he wants. We're all just along for the ride.

Yeah, it is the only options.

Three good seasons by the team during Garrett's stay Out of NINE YEARS. If he truly believes what you just said maybe its proof what Carrie Underwood said about him is true.

As for your comment about "single handedly" getting us to 12-4, GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK. He had a great yr, but so did a lot of people on that offense. Demarco Murray was sensational. So was Dez Bryant. So was Jason Witten. The OL was awesome. The defense got a lot of turnovers and played much better than anyone expected. He had help man.

It was pretty brutal, but a lot of teams OL's looked incredibly bad last night, especially the backups.

Yeah, not buying it at all. Jones loves Romo more than he loves Garrett. If Romo wanted another coach, we'd have one.

Thought this was interesting. This is from the ESPN write up on last night's Pats game:

Patriots had not practiced live tackling through 12 training camp practices.

She basically said he was a dope and that him and Jessica Simpson were pretty good for each other because neither was very bright.

I can see that plus there's probably always going to be a level of "just happy to be here" considering the odds he overcame to make it in the NFL

With a good coaching staff and management, they should still win with him. I wish Parcels could have hung around a few more years to see how that would have worked out

Sounds like Lawrence is getting more and more reps at RDE. He may be moving their permanently once he returns from suspension, with either Irving or Russell taking LDE.

Also read Maliek Collins was working full speed on the chords yesterday and may be finally getting on the practice field next week.

Age is another reason Garrett isn't going anywhere. Romo is too old to start over with a new coach. At this point we're just going to have to ride this thing out until Romo retires.

As much as there is great enthusiasm from the Dallas writers (except for Eatman) regarding the progress of the defense, I have more optimism in a coordinator who is desperately trying to fix, solve and make chicken salad (in other words admitting weakness) like Marinelli has been forced to, than a coordinator and scheme that is just assumed to be functional, skilled and talented. Most teams have film on Dallas's offensive weaknesses and most teams get better from the draft and free agency. We don't know what the defense is going to look like which is a good thing but the problem with the offense is there is very little change aside from health and Elliot. But keep in mind, the bar for the Dallas running game is 2014 and that was record setting for the organization.

Romo surely would have been able to comprehend before now whether he thought Garrett was good or not.

This just didn't happen the other day.

If Parcels hangs around I feel extremely confident that 07 play off game with Midgets has a different outcome. The Tuna had enough of Jerry's money and delusions after four years and headed for the hills. BTW that coaching job he did to get the 03 team might have been one of his best.
