Watch it bucko. If I pack up and leave the average IQ of this place drops to a negative number.
Now you're causing medical problems I'll need Obamacare for - the stitches in my side!

You know Briles is the guy Jerry has warming up in the bullpen when the inevitable happens, right? Another disasterous hire coming up.

I think Briles has too much pride and too much confidence in himself to ever trade his nuts for a paycheck like Garrett.

Okay so here's the question.

Marinelli has been given one of the worst situations with pivotal players being suspended and those pivotal players being not even fully proven as pivotal. It's like a poker hand with a 9 as the high card and the rest are unmatched and unadjacent. Not much to do except patiently wait for opportunity, discards, and clearing the hand for fresh cards whenever he can. What if Marinelli somehow makes it work? Not as an 85 Bears but just kind of stops the bleeding, shrinks the field and gets the ball back to the offense so that the games are low scoring for the opposition.

And what if there is just nothing that is working about the offense. Elliot has a Melvin Gordon year and Romo has a David Carr year while Dez is reduced to Roddy Whites 2015 stats complete with playing all 16 games.

The question is: what will be considered the deficiency of the team? Lack of turnovers? Lack of sacks? Lack of execution?

Makes zero sense at all.

Only thing that makes sense is his back is really bothering him again and they have to hold him out for fear of bigger fucking problem.

Didn't they report a couple of days ago that he was having stiffness in his back? I swear I read that somewhere.

TE celebrating tonight:

Brides was there visiting Williams. Williams was being interviewed on the radio today and said that Briles visits several former Baylor players like TWill and RGIII. He was in Cowboys camp last year visiting too. I believe he was in Cleveland's camp last week.

The Cowboys claimed offensive lineman Mike McQueen via waivers from the Chargers on Wednesday.

McQueen is an undrafted rookie out of Ohio University. He doesn’t have to go far as both the Chargers and Cowboys are holding training camp in Southern California.

McQueen was a three-year starter in college and has experience at both tackle and guard. He was waived by the Chargers earlier this week.

To make room on the roster for McQueen, the Cowboys waived wide receiver Ed Eagan.

lol calling Omegasupreme! Not only do the Cowboys dip into the Charger tree, they also got rid of his speedster.

Eagan wouldn't have made the team anyways. He does have some skill but the Cowboys will likely only keep 5 WR's and Eagan is about the 7th best WR in camp.

Now that there is no real film on him he's likely to make it to the practice squad.

I'm telling you guys. I can see Jerry trying to save Jason next year by bringing in Art Briles as Assistant Head Coach/Passing game coordinator.

That's classic. If you just take a step back and see that with Sparano, Wade Phillips, Bill Callahan, Scott Linehan, and anyone brought on board will not make Garrett a competent coach. All of those influences and nothing is improving. It's time to say all the panning has resulted in no gold and will never.

Oh man. They waived one of the quickest and best hand catchers. Why not waive the dope show Streets or Butler who offer nothing on ST? Yes Bob and they go back to old ghosts in San Diego. They are killing me softly.

I'm with 100% about waiving Street. That guy is absolute garbage.

That's assuming Eagan wants to sign on to the practice squad.

I wouldn't blame him for being a little bitter about this because he originally agreed to sign with the Bills before Garrett, having 'coached' him at the Senior Bowl, persuaded him to change his mind.

That was a pretty shitty move by Garrett as he must have known there was little chance Eagan would make the 53 with Beasley and Whitehead already here. Just another camp body I suppose.

I don't think Eagan would turn down the practice squad opportunity given the chance. These guys are chasing a dream. Hard to walk away from that.

Also I forgot all about Brice Butler.

So I see

Dez, Williams, Beasley, Whitehead, and Butler as virtual locks to make the roster. If we keep a 6th, seems like it would be Street for no other reason than Dookey loves him and he was a draft pick. I don't see a spot for Andy Jones or anyone else, barring injury.

I disagree that Butler is a lock to make the team, at least not at this point. Butler hasn't done crap in camp so far. Right now Andy Jones has out performed Butler by a mile. There is still time to change that for Butler but if he doesn't step up his game I don't think he makes it. No way in hell Street makes it. Dude has had 4 years to show something and has been horrible.

Has street been here four years?

Butler they keep just because of size/speed and he flashed last year with some decent big plays.
