I wouldn't care if he never played for us again. I'm all for just making the run game the focal point of our offense and let Quincy pass out of playaction.

The hit Romo took was nothing. The average person shakes that one off with no problems.
I don't agree with that. He was basically sitting on his butt, so there was no room for his lower body to absorb any of the compresson, and he was bent forward. That's a perfect recipe for pushing that disc out into the spinal nerve.

That doesn't mean he's any more durable, because he could blow it out tomorrow picking up one of his kids. But as far as that particular hit, I'm almost surprised he's okay.

If he really is okay. He may not be. Romo's tough as heck anyway, but I'm sure he really doesn't want to give in as well as Dak has played.

There's no way Romo lasts all 16.

remember a few years ago when Deangelo hall acknowledged the redskins we're going to target whatever injury Romo had that year (I think it was ribs). The book is out on Romo. Whether he is fine on that play or not doesn't matter. Perception is that simple hit got him taken out of the game so teams will definitely target his back.

Even pre season those odds makers never cease to amaze. Of course betting pre season is for degenerate gamblers but that is another story.

I was told at the zone that there's just a good of chance of Rodgers and
Brady going down than Romo

There are a few blind deaf and dumb over there but not as many as I thought. They had a poll over there today asking if Romo would start all 16 games. So far 16% yes and 84% no.

Smh. Not saying Romo doesn't have his problems staying healthy, but all 32 QB's are injured to some degree on that play. Its not Romo "not being able to take a hit."

Sobering fact in Sullivans article: of Romos last 5 starts, he's had to leave the game because of injury in three of them.

Zeke looked really good. Impressive. The real deal.

You know, at some point this running game is going to get dialed in. With familiarity/reps, the OL and Zeke will play together better. The coaches will find plays that are especially well suited to Zeke. And so on. There will be a fine-tuning. And they are going to be very tough to defend.

And the passing game, with Dez, is going to be very good too.

I saw EE and AM's highlights and I can't explain how excited I am for this running game behind this line.

Seriously think we end up with two 1k rushers this year.

On the long pass to TW. Did TW drop a catch he should have made, or was it a bad pass?

(My video could be better)

Could have been a half yard further downfield but TW should have caught it. Seattle guy did well to stick with it and make a play but one TW needs to haul in.

That was a pretty bad hit as far as his particular back injury goes, though.

It'll be interesting to see how he is tomorrow. Last year when he told Troy it got hurt again vs the Giants, no one even knew he had a problem. This looked way worse.

It was a bad hit for sure. He didn't know it was coming anf got bent very awkwardly with all of Avril's weight coming down on him.

I'm actually surprised he seemed ok afterward. Like you said, we'll see how he does in coming days.

Boykin can play. Perfect backup for that team and system.

Damn, Anthony Brown hurt. He was showing something, too. Maybe just a stinger, though.

He did return, haven't seen any updates yet.

he definitely flies around and has some skill. Looks like a keeper.

Even in that little interview, Dak just has "it" --the leadership and the likability. You can see why guys like playing for him.

That's the one thing Tony might have lacked until the last few years when his accomplishments started speaking for themselves. Tony has that slightly standoffish attitude at times. Dak has the charisma from the start.

Dez tweeted some more positive stuff last night after Dak left the game. He loves this kid. I think they all do.

Like I said, I think at least in the back of Romo's mind he is starting to get the idea that Prescott getting on the field for more than a few games could be the end of it for him.

The hit Romo took was nothing. The average person shakes that one off with no problems. Romo is made of glass and has been knocked out of three of his last four starts. It ain't a criticism of Romo, just an observation at this point. Time has taken its toll on him.

I think this was a fair comment last yr especially with the 2nd injury vs Carolina.

But that hit last night was a tough one. He got hit awkwardly and wasn't expecting it, and took the brunt of all of Avril's weight. It looked bad.

:lol

Honest mistake because I just posted in the QC thread.

Qc NEVER looked half as good as Dak has. I'm not ready to believe yet, but we might have found our next QB.

Half? Hell he never looked 10% as good.

Seahawks pissed me off last night. their defense was clearly targeting Elliott with late hits (we'll show that rookie what's what!), and their starting offense played most of the 3rd quarter against our scrubs. F U Carroll.
