Boys didn't play to win. I wanted them to look like a powerhouse, not giving a shit about injuries, and blow this terrible Eagles team out as well. In that sense I don't even know if first week bye is a good thing for us but we won't be banged up.

Two takeaways from today's game. One, no one was hurt and that was the most important thing. We will be a very healthy team in two weeks when we play the Redskins, Packers, Lions, or Giants.

Number two, Mark Sanchez is an issue. We can add "back-up quarterback" to our off-season needs this year. If Linehan is still here, Kellen Moore probably has that job. If he went undrafted, I wouldn't mind us signing Midswat's guy Joshua Dobbs (currently projected as a 6th rounder). He has some solid qualities and would be a nice developmental guy behind Dak.
