As I said before. The Cowboys needed the loss against the Giants. We needed to struggle to see what we need to do better. Still don't like the gimmick plays that we are running. Especially with Lucky's likelihood to fumble

Yep. Dump those immediately.

Made it harder than it should of been, but other than two drives the defense was really good, especially in the 4th quarter.

David Irving, a DL for our Dallas Cowboys took over a game. Overwhelmed the Bucs OL.

Know who I wouldn't want to play in the playoffs? Washington.

I've said it for weeks, Washington and Atlanta are really the only teams that worry me because they have great offenses and can throw the ball downfield. Atlanta also has a real run game.

If Thornton doesn't come back our run defense is really going to struggle

Redskins have a lousy defense --- worst than ours. And while they can throw the ball downfield, they suck in the red zone. One of the worst red zone offenses in the league, and I think the Cowboys have one of the best, or at least top 10 red zone defenses.

Redskins' offense is feast or famine. Very detrimental to their defense if you thank about it.

They have to have the ball to do that. Their defenses are suspect at best. They won't give Dallas the type of problems teams like the Vikings and Giants did. The Skins gave them some trouble for 3 quarters but not when it counted.

With Zeke 160 yards tonight he put himself back in striking range of Dickerson's record.

If he can average 128 in the last two games he can make it

He would have to have two huge games to do it but it's not totally out of the question

Close but not totally

He would need the offense to be catered around him too.

When we run Zeke we win

Here is an idea Garrett

Let's fucking run Zeke!

If Garrett had been using Zeke the way he "should have" all season Zeke would have shattered the record

This defense is starting to cause a lot of turnovers lately. We really missed on two or three additional interceptions against the Giants. Also a couple against the Bucs

Well yeah, we're clearly better than any of these teams. If one of them beats us, it obviously will be an upset. We're talking about the teams who have the best chance of doing that if they get hot.

I agree. Run Zeke and McFadden.

Can someone find any stats. I feel like Garret runs Zeke more in 1st and 4th quarters rather than all game.

The one reverse to Lucky where Ayers was basically waiting for him is either a very poor play design or an O Linemen completely screwed up. As the backside DE, you are taught that if the tackles leaves, you squeeze the gap, look inside for a pulling guard, and then eyes to the QB. No way a handoff to a WR should have left a DE sitting there waiting on him.

Good point. My issue is mainly with who they are running too. Teams really don't have to account for Lucky being a receiver so they can really focus on this gimmick. I am also reluctant to provide those types of plays for Lucky knowing his fumbling issues. If he can correct those then go with it.

Apparently they left him alone figuring that Ayers would vacate his spot.

Which they're really starting to utilize these past 2 weeks. Ryan has largely taken a step back in that offense while they just let their 2 horses gallop.

Was hoping we'd rush McFadden more; but it seems the plan is to be as balanced on offense between the run and pass as can be.
