If you read my previous posts. I'm not disagreeing with that. I thought the play calling was horrible but with another great blocker in the game we not only could have exploited them even more with the run but also two tight end pass catching

You're right. But... Garrett seemed intent of going away from the run, no matter how successful. This is his M.O.

Relax there turbo

It's one fucking loss!

If Dez showed up for this game we would have won (or at least not lost) this game

You are talking like the sky is falling and the season is over

We are still ranked the number one team in the entire NFL and 2 games ahead of the rest of the NFC!

TAKE A DEAP BREATH,

it will be ok. We lost our second game of the season and you are writing them off?

Seriously?

It's not Dez I'm worried about. I'm pissed off for sure and might be overreacting but Dak seems like Cassel when he has the ball.

Romo wouldn't have faired any better against this defense.

They sure as hell wouldn't have ended almost every drive with a punt. I don't think we've seen the last of Romo in Dallas. Losing one game would be an overreaction but this team has been mediocre since Thanksgiving. The feel-good camaraderie in the locker room can't be holding too strong right now.

Not sure how anyone without an agenda could watch that game and believe Romo wouldn't have won it. Dak has regressed each week since Pittsburgh. The book is out on how to beat this team now.

The rookie has two bad games and only one loss and you wanna throw Romo back in there?

You know how we know Romo wouldn't have won it? Because he's broken a bone and been knocked out of the game in 3 of the last 4 plays he has attempted

Dak has done something that Romo NEVER Has and that's win 11 straight games. He's also had more 100+ QBR games than Tony in a single season and the season isn't even over yet

What's the most wins Romo has ever had in a season ? 12?

Dak will tie that next week

Wanting Romo to play again is beating a dead horse! It's time to put him out to pasture after this season and turn him into glue (or at least a draft pick)

Agree. I'm not seeing him play to his strengths. He was often compared to Russell Wilson earlier this season. Now I'm seeing a guy that is becoming strictly a pocket passer.

I almost wonder if we could do a baseball situation. Dak is the starting pitcher, quarters 1 through 3, and then you bring in the closer Romo in the 4th quarter if it's a tight game.

Dak shrinked tonight. Hope they can get things together before next week.

You must have missed games 2-11 when he was setting multiple NFL records (and doing it as a rookie)

25 TD and 2 INT in that span, what a fuck up he is. lol

He sure looked like cassell then right?

The T-Day was not on the offense. Put up 31 points. Defense almost lost that game.

13 wins in a season and he's a top 5 all time rated passer.

He gives the team a better chance to win in games like the one tonight. And if he breaks his back again then you're back to Dak anyway. It won't happen, but fans are in denial if they don't think this is how the playoffs will go with Dak and Garrett against an above average defense.

You need to let it go with Romo. That play against the Redskins, where Dak runs it in... Romo doesn't do that. Romo can have tons of daylight ahead of him, but he will not run for it and thus do all he can to help the team win.

The coaching for this team is still the reason that they'll never get over the top. All the Giants had to do tonight was double Dez and stack the box against Zeke. Witten and Beasley should have had 300 yards receiving. And what the fuck is the purpose of Escobar. I feel like the exact same player would have 10 TDs by now on a Belichick-coached team.

Unless there's some more creativity on offense and Garrett magically learns how to coach, I think we've seen Dak's ceiling against above average defenses. That's not a knock on Dak at all. There's only so much a rookie can do and he's exceeded even that. Romo was able to improvise and get out of situations even though he couldn't run.

I don't think they should bench Dak, but I do think they need to kick the tires on Romo and at least figure out what he has left.

Even when stacking the box against Zeke, they couldn't stop him. Need to quit saying coaching staff, this is all on Garrett. Linehan would have gotten Beasely and Witten the ball. We've seen this all too often, long before Linehan arrived. Got the best dam running game in the league, and he is so damn averse to using it. We all know the difference with a offense bewing ran by Linehan and that by Garrett. Linehan knows the strength of the offense is the running game, and he goes with it, not away from it.

Who would have though... that Zeke can run for over a 100 yards, and yet the Cowboys still LOSE THE GAME?

For everyone still on Romo's jock.....

He's been knocked out of the game in 3 of his 4 last plays with a broken bone

How many games did he win last year? What was it? 2? And how many games did he play last year? 3? And how many broken bones did he have last year? 2

Then how many games did Romo play this year? ZERO because he BROKE his fucking back...
AGAIN!

What happened when he was healthy? He lost his job to a rookie who has won more consecutive games than Romo ever has in his entire career

A rookie who has more rushing TD's than Romo does in his career

A ROOKIE who set the all time NFL record for more passing attempts without an INT to start a career by passing Brady who will go down as the best QB in history

What happens to Romo when the pocket collapses?

That's right, he breaks a bone!

What is the best thing Romo has ever done for this team? Make a speech conceding the starting job to Dak!

Dak will surpass Romo's two playoffs win this year, in his first season in the NFL, as a rookie!

Romo is the past
Dak is the future
Get used to it and move on

You are beating a dead horse. His TD record wasn't my point, or his other records that he set during regular season. What matters is now and the future.... Several folks also noted his apparent regression. Let's see what happens next week.
